Although it can be tempting to keep adding to the design, it is important not to get carried away. Every element of your business card design should have a reason for being there and it should contribute to the overall message you are trying to convey. It is also important not to underestimate the value of blank space. Not only can it help to keep your design simple, but it can also provide room for jotting down personal messages or extra details when you hand over a card.
