For any print company Christmas always starts that bit earlier so we can be ready when businesses turn their thoughts to the party season. We have been getting festive for a few weeks and we’ve already been working on orders for Christmas cards, 2020 calendars, Christmas party event invites and company diaries. With many companies choosing to close over the holiday period we thought it would be helpful to highlight how best to go about ordering Christmas or New Year items from us.

The good news is that ordering Christmas related items from us doesn’t have to be stressful. We are here to take the strain of ordering from you and reassure you that your festive cards, diaries, calendars or party invites will arrive on time. Obviously we recommend ordering sooner rather than later but often what takes the most time is determining the design so bear this in mind when factoring in when you want to order. As Christmas falls midweek this year we have a little extra room for manoeuvre in terms of timescales but not a huge amount.

One of the most important things to factor in when ordering seasonal products is the time you need to despatch to your customers. Bear in mind that it is likely to be busier this time of year for Royal Mail and other delivery companies so add this in too when estimating when you need your printed products by.

The dates for Royal Mail recommended last posting dates for 2019 are outlined below with the vast majority of other courier companies closed for the bank holiday dates:

  • Wednesday 18th December – 2nd Class and 2nd Class Signed For
  • Friday 20th December – 1st Class and 1st Class Signed For and Royal Mail Tracked 48
  • Saturday 21st December – Royal Mail Tracked 24
  • Monday 23rd December – Special Delivery Guaranteed

Custom Seasonal Gifts

As previously mentioned, when ordering anything that is company specific then getting the design agreed up front will usually save you time on the print process overall. If you cannot decide on a design, then we can help with that too. Utilising our print design experts and ordering your printed products through us too can save time overall as we’re not having to talk to third parties to get artwork signed off or processed.

Once your design has been approved then we will be in a position to give you an estimated completion for your print products. We’ll arrange delivery from a selection of turnaround times that suit you with the option to upgrade to a pre 10:30am or 12:00 pm delivery.
